Talk to a human

Include your Apple ID email only if the question is about a purchase, and don’t send crash clips unless you want us to see them — we can’t pull them off your phone.

Restore purchases

Open the shop (the collection plate on the ready screen) and tap Restore Purchases. Paper, worlds, the Founders Pack, and Unlimited Lives Forever come back from your Apple receipt. You need the same Apple ID you bought them with.

Continue credits do not restore. They are spent as you use them. Deleting the app deletes any credits you hadn’t used.

Refunds

Apple handles refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple refunds a paper, a world, the Founders Pack, or Unlimited Lives, that item leaves your receipt and the game stops treating it as owned. If Apple refunds a continue pack, those credits come off your balance, down to zero. A continue you already flew stays flown.

Lives

The first 40 finished runs are free. After that you have five lives. A crash spends one, and one comes back every 10 minutes, including while the app is closed, up to five. At zero you can still share and save the clip. The next run waits for a life, unless you have Unlimited Lives Forever.

A continue puts you back into the run you just crashed. It refunds the life or free run that crash would have cost. It is not an extra life in the bank.

Face cam

The fail screen has FACE CAM ON / FACE CAM OFF. Off means new runs aren’t recorded. Clips already shared or saved are yours, in Photos or wherever you sent them.

Auto-save is off unless you turn it on. With it off, a clip is written to Photos only when you tap Save Clip.

If the camera button sends you to Settings, iOS is holding a previous Don’t Allow. Fold Fail can’t override that from inside the app.

Game Center

Wrecks and this week’s score are ranked only if you sign in to Game Center. Skipping it changes nothing about how the game plays. Nothing is awarded for rank.

The hinge

Fold Fail is built for the iPhone Duo. Opening the hinge lifts you. Closing it drops you. On an iPhone or iPad without that hinge, tap still flies the run.
